Wye & Usk Salmon angling season begins

Today 3rd of March the rivers Usk & Wye salmon angling season begins, they will fish until 17th October ............Even if......all salmon are thrown back after catching , playing and handling these fisheries will kill more salmon most given weeks than our Black rock lave net fishermen took in any season prior to 2020 .

Equality is a big thing apparently these days............Not in this case it would seem .

At the very least fishing for stale soon to spawn salmon in the back end of this season should be stopped we feel & the season bought into line with ours (1st June - 31st August

These rivers are in crisis . As things stand stocks will never improve. Past management has been shown to have failed , it's about time someone with some B..ls stood up and said so .
