We will keep our facebook page and this web site live and interesting through the period. We are lucky to live close to the estuary and at the moment ate able to walk down for exercise ! We also have a vast store of pictures, videos and other observations to share.
Our fishermen will feature in the new ITV Wales series " The Wonders of the coast path " starting on Monday 27th April. 8.30 pm. The presenter is Sean Fletcher. Sean and his team visited our fishery and was taken fishing and also shown how to make a lave net. We are lucky to be situated right next to the Wales coast path and the path overlooks our severn estuary lave net fishing grounds.
The sculpture of a lave net fisherman which will over look our severn estuary fishing grounds is now well underway. Made from a single Welsh oak tree ! Chris is doing a grand job ! This will be a huge iconic sculpture celebrating lave net fishing ,positioned right next to our net house and the wales coastal path .

Also a 5 gallon jack of used engine oil picked out in the same area..... Incident reported to Milford .
Richard ,one of our fishermen is talented in his willow work. with a little more time on his hands due to the corona virus he has started to make a willow porpoise for display at our net house . we occasionally see porpoise out on the estuary H ere is the work in progress .
