The Environment agency has just removed a requirement for EDF to install an acoustic fish deterent from it's cooling water system on the Hinkley C development despite a public enquiry that concluded EDF must instal one........

132,000 litres of cooling water will be suckedinto this pipe at high velocity ,not much if anything will survive.

Studies vary as to the kill but even the EA estimate around 178 tonnes of marine life per year every year.......

This WILL INCLUDE " endangered " species such as Twaite & Alis shad , silver eels in all forms and salmon in all forms .
