The holy trinity on the river Wye

Twaite shad , Lamprey and Salmon all now running the river wye . But first they have to get past Sammy and his ever increasing family.

This week he's on the Salmon . must be a few about as he's just ripping out the belly. Not to much rain about so the fish are not going to far and the seals will have a good feed.

So how many seals in a river system are to many ????

And what would the " river guardians " do when that number is reached...........LOL

Hey wait a minute they say that seals are not a threat to stocks ....... So nothing .

Sammy (Or son of sam )with a fresh run spring salmon this week
