River Pollution

Proactive work by a River Wye angling group has highlighted horrendous pollution levels in the river ,in some cases Phosphate levels are 10 times higher than permitted levels............ Some one has taken their eye off the ball here and allowed this real problem to get out of control...............Closure of industrial salmon fisheries and heritage fisheries such as ours is not the answer to stock levels. Pollution clearly is and is being allowed to destroy our rivers by those that claim to protect them............
