Lamprey on the menu this week

The rare Lamprey are now entering the river Wye to spawn. Sammy and his mates are having their fill making a change from the twaite shad .

Spring salmon next then . Lets hope we get a drop of rain and the Salmon don't hang around Chepstow for to long.

Not to worry though the increasing colony are not seen by NRW as any threat to stocks .
