HABITATS REGULATIONS ASSESSMENT....

So after we offered N.R.W. to reduce our maximum take for the season for the group from 15 to 5 salmon if allowed to keep those fish keeping our fishery alive this has been rejected by them .

The carried our a H.R.A. on our impact .

We fish on the Severn estuary but they conclude "If our fish come from the Wye & Usk " our impact might be 0.08 % of stock "worst case scenario" ...........

no one at NRW could look anyone in the eye and say this "Impact " is in anyway significant .

This is simply clearance of the Severn estuary of traditional fishing ,nothing else.
