FIFTEEN THOUSAND FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS

A quite amazing surge in interest from all around the world in our Facebook page. This has generated much interest in our fisheries current plight and has certainly opened a few new doors which will be explored in time.

All who take an interest in our lave net fishery cannot believe the treatment we have received from NRW and that it has been aloud to happen when shown the full sequence of events.

The recent book by Mike Smylie " Voices from the Shoreline" certainly gives a idea of the concerted effort from regulatory bodies around our coastline to remove traditional fishermen from our shores.

It is obvious that COMPLETE REMOVAL of the likes of use is on the agenda and that unless stopped the chipping away will continue even if there is very little remaining to take . After all they have to be seen to be doing something even if that something is not the right thing.........
