Fiddling whilst Rome burns.

NRW continue to try to micro manage the very few traditional fisheries in Wales. You would think the penny would have dropped by now after closure and restriction of these fisheries made little if any difference to stock levels on our rivers.

One good thing is that the public are now very aware of what happened & is still happening on our rivers under their " guardianship ".

Are we all missing something or is there an agenda we are not party to ............

You have to have a foundation if migratory species of fish are to be restored and that must start with a river where these species can thrive.

If not it's a little like building a house on sand or trying to bring on spring lamb on a slab of concrete.
