Another nail in the coffin of our fishery

Natural Resources Wales propose another increase in our fishery's licence fee..........We now pay £632 for the group ( Increased last year ) The proposals are anything from 27% to over 400 % ...............They also seek to link the fee charged to their "Costs " to oversee the fishery . An open book to increase in the future....

We and others have objected to this.

We pay a full licence fee yet our season is reduced by 60 %......we do not sell salmon ..... We fish under a salmon limit.........We are currently fighting further catch restrictions by NRW which resulted in the 2020 season closure of our fishery......... Talk about being down and beaten with a stick !!!
