A human skull.......

Way back in February our Black rock lave net fishermen found part of a human skull at low tide out on our fishing grounds.

We informed the police who took it away for further examination.

We have recently had the results of the carbon dating. 870 - 1000 AD......The dark ages or as it is also known early medieval .

Fascinating stuff !
