A safety boat

With the planned Kayak crossing of the Severn estuary from Black rock to New passage & back by the Sudbrook & Portskewett Kayak club One of our fishermen Martin offered to act as a safety boat for the trip .

The crossing involved crossing "The Shoots" where there are whirl pools ,over falls and fast currents.

All went well with no mishaps on the day. Paul our chairman led the group across under the watchful eye of Martin.
