N.R.W. recent Habitats regulations assessment on our fishery has concluded we are a threat to salmon stock on the rivers Usk ,Wye and severn estuary.

We will nor be issued licences unless we agree to throw our catch back . At present the fishery is closed.

We have just received a copy of the HRA. Amazing ..............In it they state our average catch is 5 salmon for the group per year. (which is about right ) Then go on to base their conclusion on a number of 15 salmon..............15 comes from the upper limit in our agreement which we have never come remotely close to ..................In effect multiplying our impact by 300 % .........

This is just one point in many being used to undermine our fishery.
