CLEARANCE almost complete....

It has taken decades but the Severn estuary , rivers Severn , wye & Usk have been cleared of traditional salmon fishing.

Some of these methods were unique to the country. Cultural vandalism or just an agenda ??

Through this time our fishery has fought to survive the attentions of the E.A. and then N.R.W.

We have also built what many consider to be a model heritage fishery .Taking a small number of fish which keeps the fishery alive.

Surely there is a place on the estuary for the one remaining salmon fishery to keep the memory of what has passed alive ?
