The Black rock lave netting season prior to 1999 started on 3rd February just after the rod fishing season starts. It Ends on 31st August .

In 1999 , 60 % of our season was removed . We now start on 1st June .

These dates are just on paper as we can only fish Spring tides due to the water levels.

It has always been law we cannot fish weekends......

Maximum Salmon fishing time is 2hrs.

Wind direction and strength is critical and it is not unusual to loose a weeks fishing.

Actual fishing time is measured in hours. For 99.9 % of the year we are not fishing
