A comparison between Black rock lave net fishermen's catch and the EDF Hinkley point nuclear power station (Down stream from us ) which is under construction .

The power station will kill upwards (Depending on who's predictions you believe ) of 650,000 fish a year ( Conservation groups give far ,far higher figures ) including Eels, lamprey and Salmon

We take a handful of fish a season .

CEFAS , a government advisory group who advise on fishery related issues conclude " That this level of kill is NEGLIGABLE , the predicted levels will have no effect on the SUSTAINABILITY of each species."

Why does no one ask the question why fisheries such as ours are seen as fair game for closure ?????????????
