Shirenewton Cubs
Throughout the lave netting close season there is always great interest in our fishery and we get many invites to speak / demonstrate to groups around the country.
A particularly rewarding experience yesterday was meeting the Shirenewton Cubs .
They learnt about the lave net and materials we use to make it ,net knitting ,our low tide finds and plastic on the estuary.
A very interactive evening went down well with all !
The Cubs seen here making a "Snouter " (a lanyard for carrying a fish from the estuary )
