Shrimps !

The estuary is at present full of shrimp . In days gone by men from our local villages would fish for them with a small reduced mesh lave net in an area called the Lubey .

Before that there were Putt fisheries that caught them .

A local source of food . In an age where we import shrimp from all over the world with the environmental impact of the act it's a mystery why this resource is not harvested .........
