Dead Salmon

Around this time last year some of our lave net fishermen journeyed down the Wye from symonds yat to Chepstow .

The stench of dead fish was overwhelming in places . At least a dozen salmon were seen dead on the bank.........Wonder why the rod catch was down ?????????

A drout with extremely low water levels ,yet still the sound of pumps drawing out vast amounts of water for the fields...........
