Denny island revisited

One last chance before the clocks change to visit Denny island and have a look around now the birds have gone.

weather delayed landing and Richard and martin edged across the banks into the landing channel with inches to spare.

Fantastic to be on top of the island after all these years. Some good finds in the limited time we had, 2 cannon balls lodged in the walls of the island and a second ww bomb no doubt aimed at Avonmouth / Bristol back in the day.
