Another week lost....

A disappointing week on the fishing front. A week long waited for wrecked by the weather ,rain rain and more rain .

Boat bailed out several times then ground mooring chain parted (good job its on two ) A renewal job for the winter to add to the list. No further salmon caught , Still on five ,unbelievable considering the numbers seen but that's how it goes sometimes .

Now a period of neaps with no fishing .Next fishing tide 21st August ..... These are huge springs ,fingers crossed on the weather.

Boys decided to sample some local oysters.... which seem to be thriving now since closure of the mill .

BBC WALES down next week. Still great interest in the fishery.
