The fishery open day was once again a great success supported locally and from far and wide. The weather gods were kind and despite forecasts to the contrary rain held off .
Sudbrook history centre and Baa brewing joined our award winning exhibition and everyone enjoyed themselves.
The home baking by the wives, partners and friends of the fishery was sensational , Deb , Jane and the 2 Sues managed to keep everyone happy on the day ,quite a feat !
Richard kept all the kids happy with "lave net training " a big hit .
Matt fox was presented with his trophy for the1st salmon of the season by Bob and Tim Bevan was presented with his by Dorothy Brown for his fine 15lb salmon . Diane Williams presented the wooden spoons to the "Spooners"
A massive thanks to all who helped ,raffle prizes , setting up / taking down , baking cakes
