At last, Richard's first fish!

The first set of tides in August were met with howling gales and very little chance of seeing a fish. However Richard Harris managed to winkle out a fine salmon of 8lb, his first one. Well done Rich. If we wait long enough good tides and good weather will come together!

We exhibited at the Eisteddfod in the end for the full eight days, a fantastic

moment for the fishery . The interest shown in our display and demonstrations was unbelievable.

We now have a new sponsor, BAA brewery ! Based in Chepstow this micro brewery has taken the market by storm.

Managing director Charles Heaven presented T shirts to the fishermen with our and the company logo . Charles has also been a great supporter of the fishery in the past and we thank him for that.
