Coming together

For the first time ever, the few remaining Welsh traditional fishermen are coming together in a peaceful protest on the steps of our Senedd, highlighting the state of some of our rivers in Wales.

Black rock lave net fishermen , Towy & Teifi Coracles , Cleddau compass nets and Dyfi seine nets will all take part along with other groups in this event organised by Angela Jones of Save the river Usk . Tuesday,13th October . 2026 .

We are all victims of the decline in our rivers and the inaction to tackle the root causes of this decline.
