Denny Island
With a flat calm tide and no lave net fishing due to the neap tides (typical ) a quick exploratory journey to Denny . Folk law says that men from sudbrook, caldicot and portskewett used to walk here on the big tides in search of eggs many years ago.
Richard Morgan and Martin made the long journey from base in Diawl Bach ,she made good ground and got us there and back quickly and safely.
most older/local people pronounce the island as "Dinny " although it is spelt Denny .
