The National Eisteddfod

July finished with a disappointing one salmon ... considering the amount of salmon on the rivers at the moment this is a disappointment.

We were exhibiting/demonstrating lave net fishing in the Monmouthshire marquee at the National Eisteddfod, Abergavenny; a fantastic experience. We all worked as a team and the effort from all the exhibitors and organisers is great.

On Monday, Martin welcomed the First Minister to our exhibit and they chatted about the lave net fishing. He seemed well informed and took a great interest.

Our display proved popular and we stayed until the end of the week supporting Monmouthshire.
