fantastic calm weather & a neap tide and a chance to land on Denny west of the lave net fishing grounds to explore . lots of interest found and our flag left ( The island is in the parish of undy , Wales !
A visit from the weston shrimpers a few weeks back . Another group struggling to survive , mainly due to the lack of new members but doing a fantastic job keeping this old severn estuary tradition going .
With the nets packed away we now turn to the cod fishing . The first set of tides matched up with some calm days for a change. plenty of fish out there ,Conger ,dogs and ray and the first cod of the season !
